*To be eligible for reduced registration, students may be asked
to provide proof from their institution that they are indeed students.
**The cost of the conference dinner is not included in the reduced student rate and should be purchased as an additional ticket if required.

Student funding***
- The SANUM 2017 Organising Committee has limited funding for full-time students in need to attend the conference through the recently awarded NRF Center of Excellence COE-MaSS.
- Students must be a affiliated with a CoE-MaSS node institution
- Students applying for this funding must simultaneously register for the conference and must present a paper or a poster to qualify for funding.
- A presentation/poster presentation is compulsory.
- Students should apply for this funding through their department's head (or his/her representative) and all applications submitted as a whole from each institution to the organising committee.
Application Form
- Refunds will be made after the conference to successful students who attend and present. Students should thus make payments themselves (or through their departments) beforehand in order to attend. All invoices and proof of payments will be required to receive refunds on expenses. Reimbursements will be made based on limited funding. Students are strongly encouraged to also apply for alternative funding elsewhere.
- Applications must get to the organising committee by 15th January 2017 absolute latest.
